The 2nd Annual Nolan Town Center Swine and Spirits BBQ Festival

The second annual Nolan Town Center Swine and Spirits BBQ Festival will feature 20 BBQ teams from across the Pacific Northwest competing for $8500 in cash and prizes! The event will also host 20 of the best distillers from the Northwest serving spirit samples and specialty cocktails.

American Legion Park, 850 SW Rimrock Way, Redmond, OR - Kids get in free!
Weekend passes are $12 in advance ($17 at the door) and include 5 tasting tickets for barbecue samples from the competitors (while supplies last). The Spirits tasting package is $20 in advance ($25 at the door) and includes 5 BBQ tickets and 10 spirits tickets. Spirits samples are .5 oz. Additional tickets may be purchased for $1 each.
SCHEDULE
The Saturday competition features the Chicken Wing Challenge at 4pm and Whiskey Makes Me Frisky at 5pm!
Attendees can sample wings from the competitors as well as other creations by the BBQ Teams from salted caramel brownies to bacon wrapped dates! Saturday is a great day to talk with the BBQ teams about their craft and sample a variety of foods.
Saturday also kicks off the Crafted Life Spirits show with 15 distillers serving up whiskey, gin, vodka, absinthe, and a variety of other specialty spirits!
Additional barbecue vendors will be on hand selling full meals. And Wild Ride Brewing will be serving up some cold beers!
Judging for the Papa Bad Bones Chicken Wing Challenge takes place at 4pm and Whiskey Makes Me Frisky at 5pm!
On Sunday the competition heats up as the BBQ Teams serve their best pork butt, brisket, chicken and pork ribs to the judges!
Sunday schedule: 11am Pork Butt Turn-In, 12pm Brisket Turn-In, 1pm Chicken Turn-In, 2pm Pork Rib Turn-In. Tasting for the public starts after the Turn-In's except for the Pork Butt which will start at noon. Awards will be announced at 5pm.

Part of the proceeds benefit the Oregon Hunters Association and Backcountry Hunters and Anglers. $1 from every online ticket sale goes to each organization. The Oregon Distillers Guild will also be on hand serving up some amazing cocktails - proceeds from the bar benefit the Guild.
