Join us for a very special FULL MOON SHOW featuring an all-female melanin lineup including Amenta Abioto and Treneti Brown performing a set together! Also, please welcome Oakland's own Sh8peshifter for her Portland debut!

Sh8peshifter Music (Oakland)
Sh8peshifter makes music art through ritual. While her music has been compared to the works of Janelle Monáe, Erykah Badu and MIA, this Oakland-based performance artist occupies a world of her own. A soundtrack to #BlackGirlMagic and beyond, her afro-eclectic mix of soul, dance and theater inspire folks to find the divinity within and bounce their booties to the bass line.

Treneti
Born and raised in inner city Chicago, Treneti is a living embodiment that a lotus can be grown between the cracks of broken homes and concrete streets. Treneti's first path of artistic soul expression was professional dance, she choreographed, performed and taught movement from 11 to 27 years old. She studied dance at Columbia College Chicago and went on to develop her own technique of somatic, sonic and psychic awareness for holistic healing called Geometric Configuration Technique. To Treneti music and dance are not separate they have and always will be one movement. Treneti creates music for the body, mind and spirit with dance always in mind and see's her soul expression as a contribution to the reunification of the forms.

Amenta Abioto
Songwriter, producer, and actor, Amenta Abioto is on the cutting edge of all that is musical, theatrical, and literary. Her music is boldly mystical and soul-fired, and her raw live performances invoke elements of both theatrical surprise and magic through ancient African diasporic sounds and stories. Weaved into syncopated rhythms and dichotomies of comedic proportions, Amenta surprises and tantalizes audiences with mind bending ideas. She brings to the music scene funky academia while skipping vocally from soul shaking gospel to smooth jazz and then onto hip hop rhythms wrapped in West African beats.
