04/10 Skate Pop-Up at Lloyd Center w/Skatemobile

Due to popular demand, our unique, distanced outdoor skating events will be BACK at the Lloyd Center with no more than 75 people skating at a given time. Rent, or BYO Gear and join us in the open-air, covered parking garage for some winter skating fun!

Saturdays & Sundays Through April

  • Rose City Rollers Practice (membership only): 12-1pm
  • Public Session #1: 1-3pm (75 attendees)
  • Public Session #2: 3:30-5:30pm (75 attendees)

Entrance is at the West-end Parking Garage at Lloyd Center (9th Ave between Halsey and Multnomah) - view the pin drop here!

**NOTE about the skatable area: we will be on the 3rd Level of the Parking Structure, which is open on 3 sides (open air / covered)**

OR ON THE TOP FLOOR, ROOFTOP, weather permitting!

**All attendees must be distanced, masked, and MUST fill out a gear survey for any rental gear and agree to the waiver in advance of skating. Rose City Rollers reserves the right to refuse service to anyone not in compliance with State and County Guidelines. No refunds will be give if you are asked to leave for this reason.

What to expect:

  • You'll be asked for skate + gear sizes via your purchase confirmation email
  • $20 tickets include skates, helmet, and pads. Protective gear not required but encouraged. Feel free to bring your own helmet and gear if you are renting skates or bringing your own.
  • You can skate within the boundaries of the "rink" - Please remove your skates to enter the mall.


  • $20 for event entry, skates, helmet and pads 
  • $10 for event entry for those with their own gear or non skaters to accompany skaters within the area.
  • Parking is free
  • Rose City Rollers Members are FREE for all sessions, use your membership number at check out


  • Kids under 14 and under MUST be accompanied by a skating or non-skating adult (if the adult wants to stay outside of the skating boundary, they may remain in the area without paying to moniter their kids).
    • This is up to your skater's ability level to skate unassisted within the "rink".
  • Kids 15 – 18 years old can be dropped off
  • Masks and social distancing are required  
  • You can bring water and snacks, but no smoking or consumption of alcohol is permitted 

Legal items:

  • Driver’s license or car keys / a credit card will be held at check-in and returned at check-out 
  • This is a skate at your own risk event for both Rose City Rollers Membership and the General Public.  
  • Rose City Rollers Member WFTDA and JRDA Insurances do not apply to outdoor skating
