Fresh Hop Seminar & Tasting

Portland Beer Week and Zoiglhaus Brewing host a Fresh Hop beer seminar and tasting with special guests Ex Novo Brewing and Von Ebert Brewing. 'Tis the season! Join the brewers from three of Portland's best breweries on August 28th to discuss what excites them during this special time of year! Fresh hops!
Sam Pecoraro from Von Ebert, Ryan Buxton from Ex Novo and Alan Taylor from Zoiglhaus will be waxing poetic and digging into the details about the how, why, when and where on brewing with fresh hops. The seminar runs from 5-8 pm at Zoiglhaus Brewing Company (5716 SE 92nd Ave.). Plus sample award-winning fresh hop beers Oktoberfresh and Fresh Hop Kölsch from Zoiglhaus, Ex Novo will have Fresh Hop Eliot IPA, and Von Ebert will have Fresh Hop Hallertau 102 Pils.
Admission gets you a pint of your beer of choice. Open to the first 50 to sign up. $10 admission
