Portland Beer Week and StormBreaker Brewing present the Brewers Burger Brawl a street party cookout pitting 5 breweries in a head-to-head competition for the best burger and beer pairing.

 

Originally founded in 2011 at the late great beer bar The Hop & Vine, the Brewers Burger Brawl is a juicy cage match of burger sliders and brews with an annual rotating list of contestants. Each event pass holder will be treated to a slider burger and a 5oz pour of their beer from each of the 5 brewers. Full beers are available for additional drink tickets and a full taplist and spirits menu inside StormBreaker.

Tickets are $40 for FIVE stacked slider-sized and totally individual burger creations. Each brewery will be out in the street grilling the burgers themselves. Expect a wild block party style atmoshphere and hopefully some good weather!

STORMBREAKER BREWING
 

Burger: Bulgogi Burger

All beef patty, smoked gouda, house-made Kalbi BBQ sauce, black garlic, candied bacon, and kimchi.

Beer: The Brew – Cream Ale

 
OAKSHIRE BREWING
 
Burger: Smashed Fried Onion Cheeseburger
House blend smashed patty (chuck, sirloin, bacon), fried sweet onions, organic American cheese, house Action Sauce on a Reality Kitchen slider bun.
 
Beer: Dry-Hopped ESB
A modern day interpretation of the classing English Ale, ESB. Brewed with Crisp Marris Otter Malt as well as Crystal, 45, 60 and 120 malt.Hopped in the kettle with UK grown Challenger for bittering and Fuggle and EKG for flavor and aroma,. Fermented with a classic English yeast strain and dry-hopped with more Fuggle and EKG. 5.5% ABV

Two patties with american cheese in the middle with a smoked aioli and special sauce and speared with an olive

Burger: Let The Beet Drop
A Juicy Chuck and Brisket Burger Sourced from Shimanek Bridge Farm and topped with Polish Morski Cheese, House-Smoked Red Beets, Fresh Horseradish Aioli and Tangy Dill-Infused Sauerkraut.

Beer: Night Runner IPA
West Coast IPA brewed with a classic don’t-mess-with-it hop bouquet of Centennial, Simcoe and Columbus. Great body, big notes of pine and citrus and a deliciously dank undercut.

Burger: “Old Fasioned” Elk Burger
Elk patty seasoned with garlic, sage and thyme “Old Fashioned” Bourbon Cherry Relish, Tillamook vintage white cheddar, Garlic Aioli and Shredded Lettuce.

Beer: Willy Buckets Altbier
Light bodied, spicy hop flavor, and a bracing bitterness, truly chuggable beer
