Have an apple or pear tree but you don't love the fruit? Well, this is the class for you. In this workshop, we learn how to change or add a new variety of fruit to an existing tree. We will meet at the Oracle Orchard to see examples of how this has been done successfully and we will be taken step by step through the process. Grafting can be exciting and a bit intimidating but this can be a good place to start!

In this workshop, Jessie Spain of Tree and Ladder Orchard Care will walk us through what we can do in the spring to help manage pests in the orchard all-growing season. We will be trying our hands at fruitlet thinning and socking. Two of the most successful and simple things you can do in the spring to help keep codling moth and other pests and diseases at bay all season long.
