Distinguished actor/writer/producer/director Dreya Weber, known for her collaborations with P!NK, Cher, Madonna, and more, brings her one woman show Hexen, a unique blend of story telling and circus arts, to Portland for the first time.
Told through song, audience interaction and aerial dance, Hexen, weaves the narratives of three women representing witch archetypes. Part historical account, ancestral legacy and imaginative fancy, Hexen explores the demonization of women, the power of reclaiming ancestry and the celebration of the mystical. Original music by Weber with recordings of
Mahler and Dvorak sung by Jenny Trier. @dreya_weber
