The Baltimore-based selector and curator has been a steady cultural mover in the DMV region and beyond for years. Known for being as versatile as they are technically gifted, they are an undeniable force in the American underground. Their sets pull from grimy club sounds, joyous house, and glistening, liquid sound design. In a word, their sound is thoroughly queer, tapping into dance music’s radical and transformative potential and leading dancers on a psychedelic dream ride.

Expanding their reach, Jacq has made multiple noted appearances at BASEMENT NY, Elsewhere NYC, Honcho, Hot Mass Pittsburgh, Nowadays, The Lot Radio, SF Underground, and Shift Radio MTL. They have various releases on a who’s who of mix series from around the world and was featured on the 2019 Boiler Room North American Tour. DIY spaces are her expertise, spanning various warehouses across the DMV (Cryng, Timbre Supply, Selection Bias, For the Freaks, etc.) and most recently sharing stages with global talents like Batu, Paranoid London, Kevin Aviance, CCL, Objekt, and many more.

Their goal is always to elevate a room, whether that be through having a wide soundscape or creating a space that welcomes the outsiders. A friendly face bringing you disrupting rhythms, Jacq has been elevating rooms for well over a decade now.
