Dia de los Muertos Dinner
Dia de los Muertos is a celebration of the lives of our ancestors and the familial tie into current and future generations. We will be honoring this tradition with our decor, food, and spirits.
Our Day of the Dead dinner features a 7-course menu crafted by our Executive Chef, Joey Hart, paired with cocktails featuring La Casa Escapar spirits. Originally from Texas, Chef Joey's palate, coupled with his experience running a well-known regional Mexican restaurant here in Portland, was strongly influenced by the Hispanic culture he grew up around. He has channeled his knowledge and experience into the creation of this menu. Joey has said that "this is my love letter to Mexican culture and gastronomy."
We hope that everyone will see and feel the excitement we have around this holiday and the food. A lot of the offerings are very traditional with a twist or interpretation for creative art.
