A Tribute to Raishawn Wickwire's Life and Legacy in Comedy!

On Thursday, May 8th at 8:00pm, some of standup comedy’s brightest young stars gather at Portland’s Alberta Street Pub for Laughs & Smiles: A Tribute to Raishawn Wickwire’s Life and Legacy in Comedy!

Laughs & Smiles is a standup comedy show honoring Raishawn Wickwire, the beloved Portland comedy producer, who passed away in 2024. Raishawn was a longtime, passionate contributor to the comedy scene in Portland and beyond and her production talents added to the success of shows such as the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Bumbershoot, No Pun Intendo and MonsterBox Comedy, among many, many more.

Laughs & Smiles features an all-star lineup of a few of Raishawn’s dear friends, who also happen to be some of the funniest comedians working today (scheduled to appear):

• Marcella Arguello (HBO, CBS’ After Midnight)!
• Curtis Cook (TBS’ American Dad, Hulu’s This Fool)!
• Ify Nwadiwe (Dropout TV, Comedy Central)!
• Arlo Weierhauser!
• Shain Brenden!

• With music by DJ Klyph and DJ Ambush, the dynamic, hip-hop DJing duo of No Requests!
