BACKFENCE Unhinged is a conversational storytelling podcast featuring a guest every episode who shares a delightfully unhinged story. Past guests include Lauren Weedman, Aaron Draplin, Chris Williams, Eden Dawn, Derrick Brown, and Beth Lisick.
All these good times are hosted by ANDREW DICKSON & FRAYN MASTERS, two people you’d actually want to get stuck in an elevator with.
And they are EXTREMELY excited to welcome two acclaimed storytellers and authors for their first-ever live show!
They’re closing down the Pearl Room at Powell’s Books to bring you this special private event.
Joining them: Pulitzer Prize and National Magazine Award-winning writer MITCHELL S. JACKSON, author of The Residue Years, and New York Times Modern Love writer NICOLE HARDY, author of Confessions of a Latter-day Virgin: A Memoir. Both will share their own delightfully unhinged stories.
Get cozy and ready for a couch-y, casual, conversational show. The hosts will also be joined by MATT SHEEHY, frontman for Lost Lander and creator of the BACKFENCE Unhinged theme music. He’ll bring the good times with music, banter, and a few stories of his own.
There’ll even be opportunities for you, the audience, to share some anecdotes of your own! Plus there'll be a few surprise antics along the way.
You’ll laugh, nudge your neighbor, and feel connected to the people all around you while having a real good time.
BONUS: Books will be 15% off for ticket holders during the show, and Mitchell and Nicole will be there to personalize your copies!
A bar with NA drinks + snacks will be provided by GUILDER.
