Telltale Presents "Why Don't I Draw Myself...an art show as part of the Fat Over Lean art month. 

When I started drawing myself in comics, I had a sudden realization—I was drawing myself far smaller than I am. And I've gotten really obsessed with the idea of why....? Is it just a drawing skill level thing? Is it internalized fatphobia? Is it not enough positive fat representation in comics? I don't know! In a world where I can draw myself like ANYTHING, why would I still draw myself skinny? 

First, A group of strangers will get together and discuss fat self portraits, and then create one together.
 

Then, on October 24th, we will come and tell you stories about our experience of creating these pieces—Telltale has a long history of vulnerable storytelling and building community together. We will tell our stories during open studio time at the Fat Over Lean art show. Invite all your friends! Free to attend, tips gladly accepted.
