This event has passed.

Portland Beer Week, Goschie Farms, The Caputo Group, and Brewvana team up to present the Micro Maltsters and Innovation in Malting seminar at Goschie Farms in Silverton. Enjoy a unique opportunity to tour Goschie Hop Farm’s Salmon Safe barley fields, followed by dinner and drinks at this intimate ticketed event. Brewvana’s party bus will transport guests from Lompoc’s Fifth Quadrant to Goschie Farms to enjoy a talk between some of the Northwest’s up and coming micro maltsters on the future of craft malting, one of the most underrated aspects of brewing. Our panel of experts features micro maltsters from Oregon, Washington and California. Samples of their barley will be offered along with, of course, beer brewed with their malt!  Advanced Tickets (with dinner, beer and transportation) available here
