Ben Steitzer is a strange and original comic in the tradition of Albert Brooks, Andy Kaufman, and Bob Odenkirk (among many others). Trust us, he's funny. And we are thrilled that he is returning to the Portland Sketch Comedy Festival!
CLIFFHANGER
Cliffhanger has performed all over New York City as a PIT Sketch house team as well as NY Sketchfest. Our members have worked with After Midnight with Taylor Tomlinson, Reductress, McSweeney’s, Disney, and Upright Citizens Brigade. They do sketches and characters that leave audiences physically happy and emotionally devastated. They're all about tropey sketches that take characters you know and love and send them on wild, unexpected, exhausting journeys. The Grim Reaper, airplane pilots, the monster from Pan’s Labyrinth, Muad’Dib, and even Santa are not safe from the eye of ultimate comedic truth.
