An elegant and unsettling evening of ghost story, seance history and parlor games. Hosted by a darkly comic character right out of a Hammer Horror movie!

Step into a soirée amongst the spirits with party host and paranaturalist, E.R. Perkins, as he guides his guests through an interactive theatrical encounter teeming with strange ceremony, Victorian séance history and genuine attempts at spirit contact. It’s a merrily macabre occasion filled with pleasing terrors for the curious and the Gothically inclined alike.

Perkins returns to PDX this Halloween at The Siren Theater with his new night of ghostly prose and spectral experimentation, BEYOND the DARK. He has presented his uncanny gatherings at Doomsday UK, East Coast Spirit Sessions III, and most recently held a Halloween residency at the infamous Stanley Hotel’s Underground Theater. Now he’s back home to share something much darker.

A Warning: This show is dark. It is a playdate with the dead. It is not for those of weak heart or inflexible moral disposition. Due to the dismaying themes explored and questionable artifacts employed, it is intended for mature audiences only.
