Sara Waters
Sara Waters is an Assistant Professor of Human Development at Washington State University
Vancouver. She investigates the impact of stress, from healthy stress to trauma, on young
children's development and what parents and society can do about it. Her work has been
featured on U.S. World News with Diane Sawyer, National Public Radio, and KGW 8 Portland
Today as well as in the London Times and Psychology Today.
Anthony C. Lopez
Anthony C. Lopez is Associate Professor of international relations and political psychology at
Washington State University, Vancouver, and serves as Associate Editor of the web
magazine This View of Life. His research explores the psychological causes and consequences of
inter-group violence, with a particular interest in questions of political radicalization and
hatred, as well as the triggers of inter-state warfare. Dr. Lopez applies an evolutionary
perspective to these questions, arguing that the human species is equipped with a “coalitional
psychology” that is active in the interpretation of many group dynamics, such as group conflict
and violence.
Caitlin Weierhauser
Caitlin Weierhauser is pretty fun. Based in Los Angeles, by way of Portland, they bring coach
vibes and joyfully-tantrum-prone attitude with their stand up. Their credits include Just For
Laughs, New Faces 2018, Portland's Funniest Person 2017, ";Charlie" in The Benefits of
Gusbandry on Amazon Prime, and"Flo" in Disney's Timmy Failure movie.
