The Portland Sketch Comedy Festival presents Sara Jo Geiger (Seattle) + Fastball Bob (Philadelphia) + Ghost Girl (NYC)
Sat, Jul 25 at 6pm
Celebrate happy hour on Saturday of the festival with 3 fantastic performances from...
Sara Jo Geiger (Seattle):SaraJo (she/her/hers) is an actor, writer, and teacher out of Seattle. You might recognize her from a Smartsheet commercial on Apple+, Netflix’s “American Vandal” season 2 episode 5, or somewhere else in the world (she occasionally leaves her apartment).
Fastball Bob (Philadelphia): After trying his hand at motivational speaking with his philosophy of "You can probably do it, if you keep your expectations low", "Fastball Pitcher" Bob Gutierrez, a washed-up former middle-relief pitcher of the 80s Chicago Cubs, is now attempting to take that message and re-invent himself as a country singer, welcoming audiences of all ages to “Fastball Country”. Fastball Bob has appeared on pitchers mounds in most National League baseball stadiums, as well as stages, back rooms, and fire halls across America.
Ghost Girl (NYC): Ghost Girl is a sketch team hailing from the vibrant comedy scene of NYC. Performing monthly at the Magnet Theater since 2022, our diverse team of actors and writers are all about tackling the heightened, the surreal, and the twisted. Our sketches operate on the logic of your favorite Saturday morning cartoon.
